The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is inviting the general public to participate in an event dubbed “Walk to Freedom” that takes place later this week.

The walk is being hosted as part of a number of advocacy and fundraising activities to be conducted by Mr. Errol Fabien, a well-known media personality, public figure and well-loved Caribbean entertainer.

Mr. Fabien is celebrating thirty years of sobriety as drug free man.

“Walk to Freedom” will be celebrated in fifteen countries and Mr. Fabien will walk for two hours in silence in each of these countries, including St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Mr. Fabien is scheduled to arrive in St. Vincent and the Grenadines today August 29, 2018 and will depart the state on Saturday September 1, 2018.

While here he will also meet with government officials and other members of the public, and host a media circuit – sensitization visit.

The walk is scheduled for Friday August 31, 2018 commencing from Heritage Square at 3:00pm and will take the route along Cane Garden towards the Round About, and then along the highway back towards Heritage Square.
