The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Electricity Services (VINLEC) will be hosting a beach cleanup at the Lowman’s Bay Beach this weekend.
The beach Cleanup, which will be held this Saturday – coincides with International Coastal Cleanup day – observed annually on September 21st.
According to VINLEC, the objective ICC is to educate volunteers about the waste produced by persons within the community and where it tends to end up
Coastal Cleanup Day is the world’s largest preservation and protection events.
This year’s International Coastal Cleanup is being held on the theme “Help Clean up a Coast Near you!”.
