The St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) is confirming that there was a workplace accident at a site in North Windward this morning.
An employee was injured and has been taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The Company’s internal protocol does not permit the release of the name of the employee at this time.
Tamara Job-Sprott, Communications Officer at VINLEC said the company is saddened by this tragic event and is committed to working with all involved to ensure the full recovery of the individual.
