The mission to target Islamic State militants in Syria could take “some time” and will require persistence, UK Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
According to a report by BBC News the Ministry of Defence confirmed, that Royal Air Force (RAF) Tornados carried out their first air strikes in Syria, “successfully” targeting Islamic State-controlled oil fields.
But the Prime Minister warned the operation would be complex and will require patience.
