Two persons were arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs over the weekend.
According to Police, Glenroy Hoyte, a 28 year old, security guard, was arrested for possession of “237 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another, at Grenadines Wharf, in Kingstown on Saturday March 19th.
The other accused, Kasroy Davis, a 27 year old, labourer of Chateaubelair, was arrested for having in his possession “565 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another, at the Grenadines Wharf on March 18th.
Meanwhile, Patrick Baptiste, a 23 year old, labourer of Stubbs and Union Island, was arrested and charged with the theft of a quantity of items valued EC$4,455.
The items which are the property of Camelita Alexander of Diamond were stolen at Kingstown on February 5th, this year.
