Two Bills, the Appropriation Bill, 2017 and the Argyle International Airport (Loan Authorisation) Bill, 2017     will receive their first Reading during the meeting of parliament scheduled to take place on Monday January 30, 2017.

The Bills will be tabled by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

The 2017 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure will also be tabled on that day by Prime Minister Gonsalves.

According to the Order Paper, there will also be a resolution to authorise the Minister of Finance to borrow by means of fluctuating overdraft or otherwise from First Caribbean Bank, or the RBTT Bank Limited, or the Bank of Nova Scotia, or the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, money to an amount not exceeding in the aggregate fifty million dollars, during the period January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 for the purpose of meeting the current requirements of the Government.

There are three questions listed for oral answers by the Opposition New Democratic Party (NDP).

Parliament will meet from 9:00am on January 30.
