The Tropical Storm Watch for St. Vincent and the Grenadines has been discontinued.

The FLOOD WATCH however remains in effect.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) said earlier today that three families had to seek shelter at the Sandy Bay Government School overnight as high-surf threatened their homes.

There are no reports of injuries.

NEMO is appealing to all persons to pay attention to the information from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services and to ensure that they are prepared at all times.

Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides, near rivers and streams should continue to be alert.

A High-Surf Advisory and Small-Craft Warning remain in effect until 6:00am Monday, October 1.
