Tropical Depression Seven (7) has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Gonzalo with maximum sustained winds near 45 mph.
At 8:50 am, Tropical Storm Gonzalo was centered near latitude 9.9 North; longitude 43.1 West, or approximately 1,250 miles east of the Southern Windward Islands, and moving towards the west near 12 mph. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb.
Watches and warnings for SVG will be issued within the upcoming days.
