Trinidad and Tobago has recorded five more cases of COVID-19. The country’s Health Ministry disclosed the new cases in a statement on Saturday morning.

It brings to 11 the number of positive cases now being treated at the Caura hospital.

Three of the newly  recorded cases are of unknown origin, and there is concern that there may be local spread.

T&T’s Health Ministry said that all five cases were primary contacts of a recently positive COVID-19 patient and all established protocols were implemented.
