The membership of the Vincentian Transportation Association (VINTAS) will be withdrawing its services from the Vincentian Public, with effect from Wednesday 8th April.

Speaking to WE FM News, Vice President of the association Royron Adams said the decision for withdrawal by the Omnibuses, was made unanimously during a meeting held yesterday.

Mr. Adams told WE FM News that the choice to withdraw was not in any way influenced by the commitment made by the Government to the transportation sector, and or the decision with respect to the maximum number of 9 passengers, omnibus operators are expected to transport.
