Three Vincentians were among thirty-one Medical students who received their white coats when the All Saints University, College of Medicine, held the fourteenth White Coat Ceremony on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the Arnos Vale Campus.

The donning of the White Coat by Medical students represents the transition of fourth semester students from the Basic Sciences to the Clinical phase of the MD (Doctor of Medicine) programme.

The ceremony heard addresses from Dr. Terrence Marcelle- Executive Dean, Hon. Cecil Mc Kie-Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture and Parliamentary Representative for West St. George, Dr. Reisha Browne-Caesar, who spoke on behalf of the Faculty, as well as from Osar-um-wense Iyamu, the MD4 Class Representative.

The three top students, Osarumwense Iyamu, Nneka Okeifufe and Oyinem Odumah all received scholarship awards, and there was also the naming of some students to the Dean’s List.

All Saints University, College of Medicine, commenced operations in September 2011 in Belair. An additional Campus was started in Arnos Vale last year.
