Three men have been charged with two counts of murder in connection with the death of Police Officer, Danroy Cozier, age 26 of Glenside, Mesopotamia, and his brother, 19 year old, Nicholas Cozier, of Richmond Hill.
The accused, Richard Francis a 31year old, chauffeur of Layou, and 32 year old Kendene Douglas and 29 year old Schemel Dunbar both of Rillan Hill appeared before Chief Magistrate, Rechanne Browne Matthias at the Serious Offences Court yesterday.
The men were also charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder on PC Danroy Cozier, at Rillan Hill on May 4.
They were not required to plea to the indictable charge and were remanded in custody until November 27 for the commencement of a Preliminary Inquiry.
On May 4 the bodies of PC Danroy Cozier and his brother, Nicholas, were discovered at Sion Hill Bay with gunshot wounds.
