The Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture will be celebrating Tourism Month from the November 1st to the 30th 2017.
This year’s theme is ‘Tourism is Everyone’s Business, Live it, Love it, Embrace it’.
The objectives of Caribbean Tourism Month includes: To raise awareness among Caribbean people of the importance of tourism in the Caribbean, To enhance the profile of the tourism sector, To rejuvenate the importance of tourism within our community, To reflect on the invaluable impact of tourism on the economic, social and cultural well-being in the Caribbean, To attract positive media coverage for the local tourism product and; To celebrate the diversity of what the Caribbean offers.
There will be a briefing to be held tomorrow October 31st, at 10:00 am at the Ministry’s conference room on the 2nd Floor of the National Insurance Service Building, Upper Bay Street.
