Ten Secondary schools from across St. Vincent and the Grenadines will take part in the 2018 edition of the Secondary school Drama festival.
The secondary schools are: St. Josephs’ Convent Marriaqua, St. Josephs’ Convent Kingstown, Troumaca Ontario Secondary, Dr. JP Eustace Memorial Secondary, West St. George Secondary, St.Clair Dacon Secondary, Adelphi Secondary, Intermediate High Secondary Bishop’s College Kingstown and Petit Bordel Secondary.
The Department of Culture in collaboration with the Ministry of Education has designated the month of November each yeah as ‘Drama Month’ in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The opening of the festival will be held on November 12 at the Peace Memorial Hall beginning at 3:30 pm.
Remarks are expected from representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture, the Ministry of Education and the coordinator of the festival, Mr. Martin Quashie.
The finals will be held on Wednesday November 28 starting at 3:30 pm at the Peace Memorial Hall.
