Teachers are more willing now than they were in 2011 to embrace the utilization of technology in teaching. This is according to this country’s Minister of Education Hon. Curtis King.
“We have been providing ongoing training for our teachers to integrate ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in the curriculum. Teachers continue to receive training to improve their knowledge and pedagogical skills in utilizing digital technologies to enhance the delivery of the curriculum.
Our teachers are now more willing to embrace technologies in their classrooms than when we started the distribution of laptops in 2011.” King said.
All teaching in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is currently taking place online due to the current rise in local cases of COVID-19 in the country.
