The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce was the proud recipient of thirty five Asus computers donated by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

These computers were distributed to eighteen Educational Institutions across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

In welcoming the donation of the computers which will serve to improve the delivery of education in the country and further bolster the education revolution, Sir Louis Straker, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce expressed gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the Government to Taiwan, for its continued commitment over the years to the sustainable development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the enhancement of the educational sector.

Earlier this year, the Government of Taiwan awarded scholarships to over seventeen students throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and during this month (November) it distributed bursaries to about 800 students here.
