Over six hundred police officers and defence personnel from across the region as well as from the United States will converge in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in June 2019, when this country hosts Trade Winds 2019.

Word of this came from Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves on Saturday night as he delivered the feature address at a closing and awards ceremony held for Police Week 2018.

Dr. Gonsalves said the plan is to have the visiting participants accommodated at the Old Montrose Police Station training facility.

According to the Prime Minister, some refurbishment works will be undertaken at that facility, starting in about October of this year, to make it ready for accommodating the high number of persons to be accommodated there.
