St. Vincent and the Grenadines, along with other countries in the region will be donating 5,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Grenada. This was disclosed by Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Ralph Gonsalves on radio on Sunday.

“Grenada’s supply will also be coming but not in this shipment, so we’ll share. We’re giving 5,000 vaccines to Grenada.” Gonsalves said.

The other countries that will join in donating vaccines to Grenada are: Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia.

Gonsalves said that SVG’s donation alongside the donation from other countries in the region will be enough to jumpstart Grenada’s vaccination program until they receive their shipment of vaccines from the COVAX facility.
