St.Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded its 4th COVID-19 recovery. The announcement came from the Minister of Health Hon. Luke Browne during a press conference this morning.

“Four (4) persons have already made a full recovery and the remaining nine (9) active cases are reportedly recovering well.”

The Minister went on to detail what is required for an individual to be deemed fully recovered from COVID-19.

The World Health Organisation’s (WHO) guidelines and protocols stipulate that a COVID-19 patient can only be deemed recovered if after the original positive result, symptoms are resolved and the person achieves two consecutive negative results separated by a period of at 24 hours.”
