The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Beekeepers Association will on Wednesday, February 3rd host a one day National Symposium and Honey show.
The event runs from 3:00pm – 5:00pm and will be held at the National Insurance Services (NIS) Conference Room.
The objective of the event is to solicit aid from important stakeholders for apiculture development here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Allan Williams of the Beekeeping Extension in the Ministry of Agriculture will present a Synopsis of Beekeeping here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, while Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caesar will deliver brief remarks.
The special Guest Speaker will be Ms. Valma Jessamay, Outstanding Beekeeper of Grenada.
