Susan Dougan to be appointed as this country’s first Female Governor General

Her Excellency Susan Dougan, will be appointed as this country’s first female Governor General next month.

Her Excellency Susan Dougan, current Governor General’s deputy will assume the post effective August 1st, 2019, replacing current Governor General H.E. Sir Frederick Ballantyne.

According to reports, His Excellency Sir Frederick Ballantyne will leave office on Wednesday 31^st July, due to health reasons.
