This country’s Supervisor of elections Dorah James has said a greater effort must be made here, to address issues relating to the use of the National Identification Card (ID).
Mrs. James made the point, while speaking on a recent radio program last week, while updating the nation on the progress of the Voters Education Program, which is being conducted by the Electoral Office.
She said the office has received complaints that persons have encountered problems, when using their ID cards including business transactions.
Mrs. James also said that the Birth Certificate plays an important role, in the processing of the ID cards.
