The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Kesron Quashie, 22yrs, labourer of Redemption Sharpes, which occurred at Redemption Sharpes on Monday.
Reports are that the deceased was outside his home playing dominoes when he was approached by four masked men who opened fire at him. He sustained gunshot wounds to his lower abdomen.
He was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This has brought the total homicides to twenty-one (21).
Meanwhile On, Pedro Ashton, 33yrs, labourer of Biabou, was arrested and charged yesterday with the attempt murder on Monique Clarke, 45yrs, domestic of Biabou, which occurred on Sunday August 13th 2017.
Ashton appeared at the Kingstown Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody.
