Several persons were arrested and charged for controlled drugs over the weekend period.

According to police, the accused are James Williams, an 18 year old, labourer of Chateaubelair, and Earl Spencer, an 30 year old, farmer of Greiggs, who had in their possessions “609 grammes of cannabis”, and “964 grammes of cannabis”, respectively, with intent to supply it to another, at Mount Wynne on January 20.

Also arrested were Demron Bobb, a 19 year old, farmer of Barrouallie, who had in his possession “460 grammes of cannabis”, and 26 year old Okeno Edwards, a mason of Petit Bordel, who had “445 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another, at Mount Wynne, on January 20.

The other accuse is Sheldon Degrads, a 21 year old, farmer of Petit Bordel, who was arrested for possession of “493 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another, at Richmond on January 21.
