Trinidad and Tobago Red Force are favored to come away with an outright win against the Jamaica Scorpions when play resumes on today’s fourth and final day of the WICB Professional Cricket League Four-day match at Sabina Park.

Chasing 325 for victory, the Jamaica Scorpions were struggling on 108 for five at stumps on yesterday’s third day.

The Jamaicans started promisingly in the fourth-innings run chase, with openers Chadwick Walton and Oraine Williams blazing their way to 89 without loss inside 20 overs. They both played some audacious drives and pulled with authority, but once the spinners came on, the Scorpions batsmen were found wanting.

Williams was caught behind pushing tentatively at left-arm spinner Khary Pierre. His 56 was filled with some enterprising strokes, including nine fours and a six. Chadwick Walton made 26 before he was stumped off the bowling of Pierre.
