The Renewal at 40 Committee, the agent responsible for coordinating activities for the 40th anniversary of Independence of St. Vincent and the Grenadines – today released an exciting programme of activities for the month of October.
The activities commenced with a Clean Up of Capital City Kingstown on Sunday 29th September and the commencement of the Zonal Preliminaries of the Flow Lions Club South – National Public Speaking Competition yesterday at French’s House which began on Tuesday October 1st 2019.
Speaking on We FM News, Minister of Culture Cecil Mc Kie says the activities rolled out, is a collaborative effort between the Renewal at 40 Committee and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
The Minister noted that the activities which will include, exhibitions, among other things, fall under the banner of the renewal at 40 is expected to roll over to 2020.
The renewal at 40 Independence activities are beng held on the theme “With Strength Honor and Dignity – We Stand Resolute at Forty and Beyond.”
