The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines through the Ministry of Transport and Works will commence rehabilitative works on several roads shortly.
Speaking at a ceremony in Colonarie on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said he has negotiated approximately 90 million dollars to repair secondary and feeder roads across this country.
“I’ve negotiated nearly 90 million dollars for road works. We should be starting the road works in another four or so weeks,” Dr. Gonsalves said.
He added that “it is going to be a project which is going to take us a few years but we are going to work on these roads I promise you that and I have done the negotiation and I have the money.”
