Former West Indies leg-spinner Rawl Lewis has been appointed interim West Indies team manager for next month’s Twenty20 World Cup in India.

The 41-year-old, currently a West Indies Cricket Board project officer, played five Tests and 28 One-Day Internationals between 1997 and 2009.

Lewis fills the role left vacant by former West Indies captain Sir Richie Richardson who left in January to take up a post as match referee with the International Cricket Council.
