Police are reminding the public that it is an offense to handle stolen goods.

They are also asking the public to be on the lookout for persons who may attempt to sell these stolen goods, and to report the offenders to the authorities.

This warning comes as police are continuing investigations into several incidents of theft.

According to Police, Brannie John, a 57-year-old Farmer of Colonarie reported that some unknown person or persons stole one Brown Heifer Cattle valued EC$2,500.

Police are also investigating an incident of Theft involving Antonio Seymore, a 30-year-old Farmer of Dickson. According to reports some unknown person or persons, stole 1,224 sweet pepper slips, valued at $528.56, between 8:00pm on July 14, and 7:00am on July 15, 2018.

Police said fifty Portuguese Yams, valued at EC$490 was also stolen from Lawrence Stephens, a 62-year-old Farmer of Park Hill between 5:00pm on July 7, and 7:45am on July 15, 2018 in South River.

In another incident, a quantity of Avocados, valued at EC$100 was stolen from Clifford Andrews, a 42-year-old Chef of Park Hill. The incident occurred in Diamond Village between 6:30am and 4:00pm on July 14.

In addition, Police are investigating an incident of Theft involving Coldrick John, a 34 year-old Gardener of Cemetery Hill. According to reports some unknown person or persons stole one brown Ewe Goat, valued at EC$400.

The incident occurred in Cemetery Hill between 10:30am on July 14, and 8:00am on July 15, 2018.

Meanwhile, Police have arrested and charged Uroy DaSilva, age 38, and Kevon Leacock, age 38, both of whom are Farmers of Green Hill for having stole a quantity of Ginger, value EC$1, 200, the property of Fitzroy Duncan, a 52 year-old Farmer also of Green Hill.

The Ginger was stolen at Green Hill between 8:30am and 9:10am on July 15.
