Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will be meeting on Wednesday with the President of Melia Group of Hotels, Gabriel Escarrer.
Mr. Escarrer will arrive here on Wednesday May 10th 2017 at the head of a nine member delegation, for talks with the government on matters related to hotel investment.
He will meet with Prime Minister Gonsalves at 9am at the VIP Lounge at the Argyle International Airport.
Speaking at a media conference on Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Gonsalves said the Melia Group is a big hotel chain out of Europe, headquartered in Spain that has hotels in Latin America and the Caribbean.
He described the meeting on Wednesday as being an important one, and said it was arranged by Cuban president, Raul Castro.
