A prayer and candle light vigil is expected to be held here St. Vincent and the Grenadines next week.
Hosted by Enough is Enough Organisation, the event which will be held under the theme “Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people” – will be take place on Sunday September from 6pm-8:30pm.
Coordinator of the event Javelle Frank said this is the second year the event is being held and that it is very important that the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines continue to pray without ceasing for healing and supernatural blessing for the land.
Ms. Frank noted that the vigil is a symbol of support, love and hope that we have not lost our voice and power as a nation, coming together as one people before Almighty GOD through repentance.
She noted that following the vigil held in 2018, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has since recorded a significant low record of homicides and violent crimes thus far in 2019.
