The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Welfare Association celebrated its 66th anniversary on Sunday April 1, 2018.

To commemorate the event, the Police Welfare Association is hosting a week of activities, which commenced on April 1, with a church service at Faith Temple Church, and ends on April 7.

Among the activities planned includes a visit to Lewis Punnett home, St. Benedict Day Nursery, Garden of Eden and Mental Health today April 4, a Members Appreciation Day tomorrow April 5, and a Police Public Speaking Competition on Friday April 6 at 6 pm, at the Old Montrose Police Station.

The activities climaxes on Saturday April 7 with a Family Fun Day at Arnos Vale 2 and a Dinner Party at Calliaqua Town Hall.

The anniversary theme is, “66 years of resilience, moving forward together despite the challenges”.
