The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadine Police Force (RSVGPF) have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 19 year old unemployed Devonnie Belgreaves of Rose Place.
According to a release from the RSVGPF the incident is said to have occurred at about 9:06 PM on Sunday November 8th 2020.
The deceased’s lifeless body was discovered with what appeared to be gunshot wounds by members of the Major Crime Unit when they responded to reports of a shooting incident in Rose Place.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by the District Medical Officer (DMO). A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted on the body.
Belgreaves’ death marks SVG’s twenty-fifth (25th) homicide for the year 2020.
