Police are continuing investigations into the murder of Ian Garfield Enoch, whose body was discovered early on Saturday morning at Argyle.

Enoch, a 50-year-old a husband and father, of Brighton, was a preacher in the Spiritual Baptist Church. He was also a travel agent supervisor at Going Places Travel agency.

His body was discovered on Saturday August 19, 2018, at Argyle in the area known as Carib Village, in one of the huts.

Anwar Jack a 24-year-old unemployed resident of Georgetown is in custody assisting police with their investigations.

A post mortem examination was due to be conducted on Mr. Enoch’s body this morning to ascertain the cause of death.

Enoch’s death is one of two recorded here on the weekend.

On Saturday morning, Maxwell “Bad Money” Nash, a 40-year-old Fisherman of Chateaubelair, died on the beach in Rose Place after having been stabbed repeatedly during an altercation with another man.

Police currently have the main suspect, Mr. Andrew Knights, a 49-year-old fisherman in custody, who is assisting with the investigation.

A post mortem examination is expected to be conducted on Mr. Nash’s body today at 2:00pm to determine the cause of death.

This brings the homicide count here for 2018, to 20.

Meanwhile, Police have launched an investigation into the robbery and kidnapping of four young women, which occurred on Friday August 18, 2018 about 11:10pm in the Villa area.
