The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which resulted in the death of Irone Bascombe, a 35 year old, labourer of Vermont which occurred yesterday September 25, 2017.
It has been reported that Bacombe and Jason Stephens, who goes by the alias Godfred Straker, were walking along the public road when they were attacked.
Bascombe sustained gunshot wounds about his head and chest and succumbed to his injuries.
Stephens sustained injuries to his back and is a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
Investigations is also been conducted into the death of Roland Cunningham, a 56 year old, Security Guard of Fairbaine Pasture, which occurred yesterday.
Reports are that the deceased man sustained a chop wound to the left side of his neck and subsequently died.
A Postmortem examination is expected to be performed to ascertain the cause of death.
This brought the total number of homicides to thirty.
