The police are investigating two fatal road accidents that occurred here in recent days.
According to police, the first accident involving motor vehicle, PU 985, owned by Sharon Nash and driven by Rondean Nash both of Layou, occurred at Grenville Street on December 18th, 2015.
Pedestrian Nicholas Lewis, a 47 year old of Edinboro sustained serious injuries about his body. He subsequently died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital on December 22nd.
Meanwhile, the second accident involved Motor vehicle H 485, owned and driven by Francis Thomas, 51yrs, of Diamond, which occurred at Ratho Mill on December 24th, 2015.
Motor vehicle H 485 was travelling toward Prospect when it overturned and the driver fell out and sustained injuries to his head.
He was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
To date there are fifteen accidents which resulted in 25 deaths.
