The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that took place in Diamond on Saturday September 14.
Several persons sustained injuries about their bodies while they were at a shop in the area.
They are: Gregory Abraham, age 30; Kerime Benjamin, age 25; Kenneth Barzie, a 42 year old Chauffeur; Andrew Laynes, age 37; Kaymanie Richards, age 39; Kerwin John, age 52; and Fitzroy Iris, age 62 all of Diamond as well as 18 year old Michael Richards of Calliaqua.
They are all patients at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
The Police is offering a reward of EC $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons who were responsible for the shooting of the eight persons on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the police is also investigating another shooting which occurred at Paul’s Avenue in which Jawanza Frazer was shot several times about his body yesterday September 15.
