Police are investigating a series of Burglaries which occurred at the Nelson Block Mas Tent, located on McCoy Street, in Kingstown, between 3:00pm on July 22 and 3:00pm on July 23.

Another incidence of Burglary was also reported to have occurred on the premises between 5:00pm on July 24 and 4:00pm on July 25.

According to reports Alvern Cadougan, a 54 year old Real Estate Agent of New Montrose reported against some unknown person or persons for entering the Nelson Block Mas Tent as a trespasser and stealing five Swim suits value US$750, a portion of dust powder of which the value is unknown, and a portion of decoration of which the value is unknown.

The Burglars also stole one bottle of Stone ginger wine value $20, one bottle of Sparrow value $25, one bottle of Strong rum value $15, one bottle of Campari value $20 and one car Deck value $100, total value $280. Investigations are ongoing.

Police have also arrested and charged a 14-year-old Student for the theft of $2,000 in cash belonging to Alvin Collins, a 38 year old Farmer of Greiggs. The incident occurred about 7:15pm on July 24.

Police also arrested and charged two minors, age 13 and 14 year old, for knowing or believing that a sum of cash was stolen, and for dishonestly receiving the same for their own benefit.

The minors were charged for, having received $30 and $40 respectively. The incident occurred at Greiggs about 3:00pm on July 25.
