Local Police authorities are carrying out investigation into the circumstances surrounding a series of robberies here.
According to the Public Relations and complaints department, the police is investigating a report of Burglary and Theft made by a 28-year-old Resident of South Union against some unknown person(s).
The South Union Resident said the assailant allegedly entered the Eveready Funeral Home’s Workshop as a trespasser and stole two (2) Electrical Hand Sanders valued EC$1,400.00, one (1) vehicle transmission valued EC$2,000.00 and one (1) Distributor value EC$500.00ECC.

The Incident occurred at Old Montrose between Tuesday and Wednesday the 23rd and 24th of July.
Police are also investigating a report of Burglary made by a 66-year-old Resident of Diamond reported against three (3) masked.
According to investigations, the assailants allegedly entered the dwelling house of a 56- years-old property owner of Calder as a trespasser, pointed a gun at the V/C and stole one (1) black HP Laptop, one (1) white Samsung Galaxy cellular phone valued EC$1,000.00ECC and EC$500.00 in cash.
The incident occurred at Diamond on Saturday July 27th. The police are soliciting information that will aid with the arrest and prosecution of the offender(s).
