Police have arrested and charged Xavique Baptiste, a 26 year old Painter of Edinboro with the offence of Damage to Property and the unlawful discharging of a Firearm.
According to investigations, on September 28, 2018 about 11:15 p.m. at Edinboro, Xavique Baptiste allegedly discharged a firearm at 38 year old Mechanic of Edinboro.
The accused also damaged the right rear tyre of Motor Vehicle PE 425 value EC$310.00 by shooting it with a gun; the property of the virtual complainant.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating an incident of Kidnapping that occurred on Independence Day, October 27 between 8:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m.
According to investigations, a 21 year old Mechanic of Mckies Hill reported against an unknown man, who allegedly forced and compelled him to go from Mckies Hill public road to Villa by pointing a gun to his head.
