Police are investigating a series of reports of damage to motor vehicles which occurred at Rockies.

Police said in a release that a 54-year-old Cashier of Rockies reported that between 8:00am on October 16, 2018 and 8:00am on October 19, 2018, some unknown person or persons damaged the left rear triangle glass of Motor Vehicle P-8618, by smashing it with an unknown object. In addition to the damages, a quantity of clothes value EC$10 belonging to the complainant were also stolen.

A 35-year-old Clerk of Rockies also made a report that the right rear triangle glass of motor vehicle P-2803 was smashed with an unknown object and one black and gold cordless microphone value EC$200 and two white t-shirts printed “Yellow Band” value EC$100 was stolen from the vehicle. The incident occurred between 5:00pm on October 18, 2018 and 8:30am on October 19, 2018.

Additionally, a 54-year-old Program Officer of Redemption Sharpes reported that some unknown person or persons smashed the right rear triangle window of Motor Vehicle PL-1955 valued at EC$300 with an unknown object. The incident occurred between 9:00am on October 18, 2018 and 4:30am on October 19, 2018.

Police also received a report of Damage to property from a 70-year-old Plumber of Rockies.

The right triangle glass of motor vehicle PR-719 value EC$240 was smashed and one Camouflage hat value EC$40 was stolen from the vehicle. The incident occurred between 10:00pm on October 18, and 6:45am on October 19, 2018.

Police are urging the residents of Rockies to exercise diligence and are also encouraging anyone with information that would assist in these investigations to call the officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department at 1-784-456-1810. The public is also urged to report any/all suspicious activities to the police.
