This country’s Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves in his message to mark the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season is urging Vincentians to be fully prepared.
Dr. Gonsalves, said this year’s hurricane season is an above average hurricane season 2020, which has come at a time when the world is managing a pandemic.
He said that all the preparations for 2020 season, will have to incorporate all the guidelines for the reducing the spread of Covid-19, noting that serious preparations for the season can make a difference in life or death.
The Prime Minister also added that the National Emergency Management Organisation NEMO is in a state of readiness for all state of emergencies.
