This country’s Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has once again issued an appeal for domestic workers in this country to get registered and join the NIS.
PM Gonsalves was at the time speaking on WEFM’s morning program on the occasion of international women’s day last Friday March 8. The prime minister stated that domestic workers are a group of women who we need to provide more protection for as they are not a group that is unionized.
The Prime Minister urged all domestic workers to join the NIS.
