Prime Minister Hon. Dr.Ralph Gonsalves has cautioned those minibus operators who have neglected their obligations to have their vehicles cleaned as part of the government’s sanitization program.

Gonsalves while on Xtreme FM’s Wakeup call program said that there had been over 3000 sanitizations done under the program since its inception.

He reminded the public that minibus operators had an obligation to keep their buses clean and that the burden of this responsibility had been eased by the program provided.

The Prime Minister expressed his dissatisfaction at the fact that some minibus operators had been shirking their responsibilities of having their vehicles sanitized and encouraged them to do so.

He went on to say that if they fail to fulfill their obligation in doing so, they will not receive the second payment of EC $500 under the government’s subsidy program set up to assist minibus operators.
