Petit Bordel Secondary School, St. Vincent Grammar School and Med Lab Pro have emerged first place winners in the 2018 I Square competition hosted by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC).

The competition came to a close yesterday with a Grand Finale and Prize Giving ceremony held at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall.

Young Inventors of Petit Bordel Secondary School won the Secondary Idea Category, with second place going to PBSS Inventors of Petit Bordel Secondary School and third place to NUSS Conquerors 2 of North Union Secondary School.

In the Secondary Mobile Applications Category, Team Titans of St. Vincent Grammar School placed first, Skai Secure of St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown second, and NUSS Conquerors 1 of North Union Secondary School placed third.

The Open Category which saw participation from citizens below the age of 35 years, was won by Med Lab Pro.

Second place went to Dawati Techs with We Are Creators placing third.

The I Square competition which is into its 6th year, provides an opportunity for young people to put forward Ideas and Mobile Applications that can facilitate the implementation of new systems or improve existing systems within both the public and the private sectors of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
