Persons who have not yet filed their property taxes for this year with the Inland Revenue Department are being urged to do so as soon as possible.

Comptroller at the Inland Revenue Department, Kelvin Pompey says that another cycle for the due dates of property taxes was completed at the end of October, and at present they are not satisfied with the level of compliance with persons in paying their property taxes.

Mr. Pompey is also reminding persons who have not yet paid their motor vehicle and drivers licences, as well as liquor licences, for this year, to do so.

Mr. Pompey says that during the last week in the month of December there are usually long lines at the Inland Revenue Department; therefore he is appealing to persons who have to settle their outstanding balances or make payments to the Department to do so as soon as possible.
