Persons in St. Vincent and the Grenadines came forth yesterday and pledged over 46,000 EC dollars in support for persons in islands ravaged recently by Hurricanes Maria and Irma, by participating in a National Relief Effort, via a Radiothon.
The Radiothon was hosted by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC Radio) in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) and the SVG Red Cross.
The Radiothon emanated from NBC Radio, with a simulcast to several other local radio stations including WEFM Radio; Boom FM; Hot FM; Nice Radio; Star FM; Praise FM and Magic FM.
The amount of $46,235.76 was realized in pledges. The account number at the Bank of SVG is 137736 for donations and pledges made.
