Vincentian Farmers affected by the recent drought, which was the worst experienced in the region in years can look forward to a one off payment in the near future. This comes from Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Ralph Gonsalves who disclosed the information while speaking on radio last week.
“Saboto brought for me yesterday, his near final judgement of his professionals in relation to farmers, to get a one off payment, because of the drough.”
Farmers in St.Vincent were severely affected by the recent drought which was responsible for the loss of many crops and livestock due to the lack of water.
