The SVG Retired Nurses Association and the SVG Nurses Association of New York Inc. have funded refurbishment works to be carried out on the Male Medical Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
A release from the Ministry of Health says the project is an ongoing one and includes painting of the ward; construction of 20 bedside cabinets; replacement of damaged wooden louvers, as well as donation of kitchen utensils, pampers, shower curtains, cleaning supplies and medical supplies.
President of the SVG Nurses Association Ms. Clari Gilbert will hand over the funds to the Hospital Administrator, Ms. Grace Walters at a formal handing over ceremony to be held today at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital from 1:00 pm, at the front of the Male Medical Ward.
