The fourth annual myAPP Summer Program, organized by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), will conclude tomorrow.

The summer program was hosted in conjunction with the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Flow, Jack’s Beach Bar, Outhouse Graphics and Digicel.

The program took place over a period of four weeks at the Bequia Community High School.

During the program participants from various backgrounds were taught the skills necessary to create their own mobile applications. They were also introduced to the BBC Microbit, which is a tiny (credit card size) programmable computer, designed to make learning and teaching easy and fun.

These participants can now use their newly acquired skills in coding and design to take part in larger forums such as the NTRC’s annual i2 competition.

A closing ceremony for the program will take place tomorrow August 10, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Bequia Community High School.
